Bishop John M. LeVoir ordained Timothy (Tim) Dolan and ten other men to the "Order of the Diaconate" for the New Ulm Diocese at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye during the ordination service on Saturday, April 21, 2012.  The group is the first to be ordained in the diocese's new permanent deacon program, completing five years of preparation.

As permanent deacons these men will be able to perform many of the duties of a parish priest and will assist in the ministry of their parishes.
